The Bembom Farm
Welcome to us at the "Bembom Hoeve". The Hoeve is located in the countryside on the border of Slagharen and Lutten. We, the Bembom family, are engaged in the breeding, showing and sale of Arabian thoroughbreds.
Since 2024, we have been renting out our new Sunset Lodge on one of our pastures. A beautiful luxury cottage.
If you are looking for a cosy and beautiful Lodge with a terrace overlooking our meadows with horses and a house equipped with all comforts, you have come to the right place. During your stay, you can take a look at our brood mares and foals grazing on our meadows. You can also visit the stables.
In the evening, you can enjoy the setting sun. With a bit of luck, you can spot hares, deer and storks. The Hoeve offers the possibility of a nice walk along our 1.5-kilometre Hoevepad. Along the meadows and among the greenery.
From the Hoeve, you can make wonderful cycling trips through the beautiful Vechtdal.

In the centre of Slagharen, you will find a supermarket and various catering establishments. So you are fully equipped!

"The welcome from the owner and his daughter is super warm, you immediately get all the information from the area and you really feel like a guest at this beautiful place. Slagharen in nearby. Is walkable but on a bike it's totally a breeze. On the grounds of the Bembom family you can walk a trail of about 1.5 km in length.
"Also had a tour of the Arabian thoroughbred horse breeding farm. We will definitely come back again."

More about the Bembom Hoeve
The Hoeve offers the possibility of a nice walk along the specially laid out footpath along the horse pastures. The holiday home is located in a lively area on the main road from Slagharen to Lutten (Aan de Zwarte Dijk 46 in Lutten). From here, both villages are within easy walking and cycling distance. Supermarkets and shops are therefore nearby.
The Bembom Hoeve Sunset Lodge is also a great starting point for beautiful bicycle tours through the Vechtdal. We have great tips for you! Slagharen amusement park can also be reached on foot or by bike. Vechtdal is a wonderful region for nature lovers. You have three large nature areas there. In the south you will find the wide views from the Lemelerberg, in the north the idyllic Reestdal.
In between, from east to west, runs the Overijsselse Vecht with picturesque spots along it. Beautiful terraces surrounded by vast natural areas. For more information on the surroundings click HERE.
Slagharen is of course known throughout the Netherlands for its amusement park. The Bembom Hoeve is located diagonally opposite the amusement park.
A visit to the Bembom Hoeve is a beautiful experience. You really feel the atmosphere of the countryside. For example, we also keep bees on our property. Good for biodiversity. You can taste and buy the delicious pure honey they produce from us.
